My Story

Being born and raised in London, England as a Turkish Cypriot young lady, I cannot say that I ever felt as though I belonged. At the age of 22 I was at the lowest point of my life; depressed, fighting a skin disease and without hope. I met with Jesus who restored my hope and continues to heal me. 

Learning of my Kingdom citizenship, I finally felt as though I belonged. I learned to speak a new language, represent the greatest ONE and started my search of who I was. 

I completed law school, qualifying at the Bar in 2010. My passion was to help people with their Human Rights. This led to a career in law specialising in Mental Health. Being a voice to people whose liberty was taken away was a privilege. God entrusted me to enter psychiatric wards to legally represent others at their most vulnerable times. However, I felt restricted. I was unable to tell them of God’s love for them; the very thing that got me out of my own mental battle of depression. 

During this time I had had relationships. I had courtships and marriage proposals, but it had not manifested to marriage. In 2014, I decided that I was going to do it all God’s way. I started honouring my body, and walking in who He created me to be. I learnt my worth and value as a daughter of God and started carrying myself as such. By 2015, women started approaching me, asking how I was so content, confident and full of joy in singleness. God had transformed my mindset; I was a wife in the waiting. 

On my search for the meaning of my name, I was surprised when I came across the Japanese meaning of Gozen; a young lady of royal standing; a title given to female warrior samurai’s. Finally, the pieces were coming together, as a Kingdom citizen, my purpose is to teach and empower women to cultivate a marriage mindset while living a purposeful and love-filled life.
